This game truly deserves its 8.5 out of 10 as far as sound and music go. The only element holding it back is the sometimes annoying beeping nature of a few of the game's worlds.

Every world is truly a fun experience with the sound Nintendo has crammed into this game pak. You will be pulled into the game by this title's music and sounds, and you won't want to put it down. Creepy, strange notes are played in a spooky world of ghosts and goblins, while modern, future-type music is played for the space world, as Mario leaps craters and dodges stars. Each level's music is perfectly set for its level. You'll be humming the tunes in your head for weeks.

The music and sound in this game are great. Wonderful! A 9.2 out of 10 for this game's graphics! This makes them very fun to knock off the screen with any of Mario's many attacks. There are tons of enemies and bosses, each unique in shape and size. Backgrounds don't repeat often, and each enemy and setting set the mood entirely for their respective world. The three-dimensional look of the game's characters and enemies give it a nice feel. Graphics for this game are awesome: some of the best ever displayed on a Game Boy screen. Mario must venture through each world, collecting all 6 of the Golden Coins before he can at last confront Wario and take his castle back from the clutches of evil! 6 Golden Coins are required to open the now dark castles gates, and Wario has hidden them throughout the surrounding lands, putting them in possession of now evil bosses, guarded by everything from ants to bullets. Wario, one of Mario's endless foes, has seized Mario's castle while our hero was off saving Princess Daisy in Super Mario Land. Wonderful game play, nice graphics, and fun worlds send it soaring to the top. It feels well planned and designed from one end to the other, and never has that feeling of randomness found in the level design and enemy design in SML2.Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins is, in my opinion, the very best Game Boy game on the shelves. Wario Land has all the style, vision, originality, and polish that the previous two games were lacking. Even Mario's physics never felt all that well thought out in SML2, having some basic Mario elements but strangely floaty and, again, awkward.

It has some nice levels here and there and plenty of variety, but it doesn't seem to have any stylistic integrity at times it seems to want to imitate the Mario platformers of the NES, but then it just throws in every kind of enemy and setting imaginable with no clear direction, making it like a mixup of ideas left on the cutting floor from other games.

I've certainly weighed in enough on this one before, but I find Wario Land to be by far the best of the Game Boy trilogy, even though it's really the start of an entirely new series rather than a continuation.
